Motorcycle Mountain Map New

<<NOTICE>> On April 19, 1995 I was driving home with the first printed copies of the Info-Map.
I remember that day well as it was the day of the Oklahoma City bombing.
My late husband Bill Moody and I started doing the Info-Map for our friends that enjoyed motorcycles as much we did.
We wanted to do a map for motorcyclists that would show them the many great roads we knew that
were not usually shown on other maps.  Because we knew how hard it can be to read a map in a tank bag,
we printed all the road names in one direction.  Over the 24 years the map has been around it has been well received.
After the passing of my husband, I continued to ride for a few years, but now have other interest and no longer ride,
it is time to pass the map on to someone that will continue it's success.  That person I have known for longer than
the map has been around and I trust he will continue to show the great North Georgia roads and
the beautiful mountain trails we know so well.  There will be a time delay while this happens,
so check back here to see the progress.

To everyone that has supported and enjoyed the Info-Map over the years, I thank you!  I have enjoyed doing it, ride safe.
Joan Moody

I have none of the paper copies of the Info-Map left but still have 3 laminated maps left.

If you ride a motorcycle, have you ridden the Georgia Mountains?  With this map, you can find the best roads! Sure you can use your GPS to see where you are, but will it show you a great place to camp, or where you can get help or supplies from a motorcycle shop? Does it tell you if the gravel road you are on is a dead end?  Many riders feel the roads in this part of the Southeast are some of the best in the country.  Now there is a map done for motorcyclists by motorcyclists.   This 28” by 26” map covers the area from the North Georgia border to Dawsonville in the South, and from Sautee in the East to Talking Rock in the West.  The INFO-MAP shows roads not shown on state or other maps.  The text is all printed horizontal, making it easy to read in a tank bag.  There are many miles of back roads that are wonderful rides and not well traveled by other vehicles.

Shown on the map are many places of interest to motorcyclists.  Harley-Davidson Custom Shops, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Motus and pre owned bikes.  You don't ride now but would like to; find a private Motorcycle School specializing in personal training.  Looking for a place to meet other riders?  Find them with the INFO-MAP.

Richard Russell Parkway
Richard Russell Scenic Hwy. GA 348

Do you ride off road? The INFO-MAP shows where you can go to enjoy hundreds of acres set aside for your enjoyment.  Not to mention the miles and miles of gravel forest roads to really enjoy the mountains.

Also shown on the INFO-MAP are 15 Waterfalls, and over a dozen hiking trail crossings, Campgrounds, one for Motorcyclists only, Motels, Restaurants, Country Stores, Antique Shops, Riding Stables, State Parks and Recreation Areas.  Find a private mountain log cabin with a hot tub to relax in after a great day of riding.  Like to camp in the forest?  The INFO-MAP shows many places to pitch your tent.  Go Trout fishing in a private pond, where you don't need a fishing license or tackle.  The INFO-MAP shows many gravel roads for the dirt bike or adventure tour rider.

The INFO-MAP shows only hometown businesses.  If you are looking for a National Chain Name Motel or Restaurant, you won't find it on the INFO-MAP.  We showcase the small business people in the area.  Please let them know how you found them, when you stop by to say Hello.
